The holder of a firearm license must (among other things)
a) inform any police department ASAP if a gun in category A,B or C, the ammunition to said gun, or his license card or gun-ownership card goes missing or is stolen. If gun of category A, B or C goes missing or is stolen, their owner must hand over the gun-ownership card to the police.
b) inform the police department handling guns and ammunition they fall under based on their residence if a gun of catgory B, D or E is stolen or goes missing, or their respective gun-ownership card or the license card is stolen or goes missing.
c) inform any police department if a gun of category A, D or E is damaged or stolen, or if ammunition, firearm license card or firearm dealership certifaction is stolen or is damaged.
It is fairly easy - there is NO category E of guns. If an answer mentions this nonexistent guns of category E, then it is the wrong answer. So yeah, you should call police asap (any police officer will do) if a gun of yours that requires license or permit (category of guns A, B or C) goes missing or is stolen. Same goes if you lose required documentation - ID card that serves as license, and or the card that proves your ownership of the gun.
Another way of figuring this out would be to first discard option b -> if a gun goes missing, you have to inform police asap, and any police, not just the one department. A and C remains. C talks about gun being damaged - now why would police care if your gun has a broken extractor. They would not, it is your property and you handle it. Of course you can not use it until fixed, but no need to inform police about it. So A remains and must be the right answer.
